Read any good Christian fiction lately?
While I was putzing around my house last night, I happened to catch a glimpse at my “to be read” pile. My, how it’s grown! I’m in the middle of a project that I’m reading several books for (sorry, can’t tell you what it is… would have to kill you) so my stack of books has become neglected.
I thought it would be fun to see what y’all have been reading lately and what you have up next to dive into. Simply answer these three questions:
What book did you just finish reading?
What book are you currently reading?
What book is up next in your “to be read” stack?
I’ll get us started!

The last book I read before working on my other project was A Broken Kind of Beautiful by Katie Ganshert. If you’re a fan of contemporary women’s romance novels, then I highly recommend it to you. It’s set in a small coastal town that’s full of great characters. As I mentioned in a recent blog post, I think this book would make a great mother-daughter read this summer. The story really highlights that a girl’s true value and beauty comes from God’s working in her life and not in what she tries to achieve in the world.

Well, here’s what I can’t say what I’m reading. I’m helping to judge for a contest and I’m sworn to secrecy! I’ll be able to tell you soon. But, I’m reading books that I normally would not have read and for the most part I’m enjoying them. There are some that are a bit more of a challenge for me but that’s the fun in the judging process. More to come, I promise!

Umm, judging from the pictures the answer would be “a lot.” And that’s just a small portion of what is currently under my end table.
I think once my project is done, I’ll be jumping into A Beauty So Rare by Tamera Alexander. Or maybe The Advocate by Randy Singer (who will be stopping by the blog tomorrow). Oh, wait, there’s the advance copy of Jolina Petersheim’s next novel, The Midwife. That one would be good, too.
Ugh! Too many great choices!
Okay… your turn. Share your readings with us by posting in the comments section of today’s post. This is a great way to share book recommendations with other Christian fiction fans!
I look forward to hearing from you!
