Happy Friday!
I don’t know what it’s like where you live but it’s currently 5 degrees in Nashville! This polar vortex thing has got to go. I mean, if it’s going to be this cold there should at least be snow. And a lot of it. I’m talking 5+ inches so it’s enough for us to have a day off from work. I think we could all use a snuggly day at home to just sit around and read. Can I get an amen?!
So what are you reading this week? I’m in the middle of Chasing God by Angie Smith. I think I’ve highlighted half of the book. It’s packed full of great biblical truths, many of which are serving as great reminders to me. If you’re looking for a great book for your women’s small group then check this one out!
As soon as I’m done with Angie’s book I’m going to dive into The Healer of Carthage by Lynne Gentry. This is a new novel coming in a few weeks. I’m hearing good things about the author and this new series so I’m looking forward to starting it.
Well, I better get back to work on our May Promotion that is due on Monday. I know, right?! May! I’m trying to think warmer thoughts while I’m doing it but it’s hard.
Next week on the blog we’ll be having a couple of guest posts from novelists Sarah E. Ladd and Robin Lee Hatcher. Should be good!
